Me: Uh oh. Brace yourself!
Ruth: Is Nikita telepathic? I am wondering if she is sending messages to black cats everywhere. Congregate and plot.
Me: Well, she has been very busy tonight. I'm guessing she has issued a full set of instructions. Expect your kitties to disappear in a while. The Cat Council will probably reconvene soon. In Executive Session, of course.
- me: So sorry, but I don't think there's enough wine in the world to prepare for what they might be planning!
Nikita is very upset to learn that Ollie and Murry (in charge of East Coast Operations) were caught lying next to each other. Their security clearances are in jeopardy!
Ruth :hahahaha!! If it helps any, Ollie (on the right) turned so his butt is facing Murry. I should say, turned so that his butt is even more facing Murry.
Me: Nikita has left to see about this latest turn of events.
Ruth: Plus, I think they both just particularly like that afghan they are on. It is very thick and furry. Kinda like them.
Me: Nikita maintains that even the appearance of impropriety puts the entire Master Plan at risk.
Ruth: Sorry Nikita. They are not looking guilty or embarrassed at all. Maybe they are tuning out her current transmissions. They are very covetous of their comfort.
Me: She is struggling to cope with the depths of this betrayal!
My sister kitties used to share. Now they hiss at each other when they are within about 3 feet of each other. I made the mistake once of picking both up together, one under each arm. Should have been dressed in protective gear.
